We advise that you should place your order at least 6 months before your event/wedding date. If your event/wedding is in June, July or August, please allow the maximum time you can as these are our busiest months. We may be able to fulfil orders with shorter lead times and will do our utmost to honour all reasonable requests.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us before you order samples to check if we can fulfil your order. If a sample is ordered and we have no availability for that date, we will advise you of this by email and will refund the Paypal payment. When you confirm your order please give us an idea of the date you require your order.
A non-returnable deposit of £50.00 is required at the time of ordering your stationery and £25.00 for tablet/favours. A confirmation order and receipt will be emailed to you.
An invoice will be issued before your agreed delivery or collection date. The total order amount must be paid in full before your order is collected or dispatched. Please note an additional invoice may be sent to cover postage and packing if not known at time of invoicing.
Please note if ordering favours with a stationery order a 5% discount will be applied to the favour order only.
Postage and Packing charges will be applied to your order and you will be quoted the amount of postage and packing when order details and delivery details are confirmed.
We do our utmost to ensure that your order arrives to you in perfect condition, however SixpennyBlue will not be held responsible for any damages once it leaves our studio or during the subsequent posting of individual items (i.e. when you post your invitations to your guests)
Please note that some countries do not allow entry of some food products, please check that the country you wish tablet delivered to will accept delivery. SixpennyBlue cannot take responsibility for returns from customs.
Our stationery is completely handcrafted. Very slight variations can occur, a feature of a genuine handcrafted product.
You can order a sample day invitation via our website or by appointment. Please see sample form for current cost of stationery day invitation sample. We aim to dispatch sample invitations within 2 weeks but during busy periods this may be longer.
Stationery proofs will be sent by post. Wording changes will be emailed as a PDFs. Design changes or additional samples by post may incur an extra charge. Samples and PDFs must be agreed either by email or in writing prior to the commencement of your order. Any alterations and/or corrections once printing has commenced will incur additional charges.
SixpennyBlue reserves the right to replace materials if they become unavailable, but we will always inform you beforehand.
Tablet samples can be ordered via our website. Please note samples come with a standard, non personalised tag and an ivory ribbon. We aim to dispatch tablet samples within a week.
Our tablet is made to order and your order will be made fresh a few days before your agreed delivery date. Our tablet is best consumed within 2/3weeks. Once you receive your tablet favours please store them in a cool dark place, we do not recommend refrigeration. We would normally send out tablet orders around 1 week prior to your event.
SixpennyBlue holds a Food Hygiene Certificate and is inspected by South Ayrshire Council.
Our tablet contains one major allergen - Milk. Our products are produced in-line with Food Standard Agency current regulations. If you have any queries re allergens please contact us.
Our tablet is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans. It does not contain nuts but is manufactured in an environment where nuts are handled.
There is a £25.00 non-refundable deposit for tablet/favours. A confirmation order and receipt will be emailed to you along with packaging, ribbon and tag options.
